Rob

Rob

Shop Manager

Rob has over 30 years of experience in the automotive industry, having worked at some small family shops as well as some used car dealers, which gives him some unique perspectives. He started with Shoveltown Auto Service before our doors even opened so he would be ready to hit the ground running on opening day! Growing up, baseball was his first passion and now he channels his workouts into training and fighting in MMA events. On weekends Rob can often be found hanging out with his family which includes his five grandchildren, and this typically involves helping someone whether it is family or friends. Rob’s ability to connect with people and provide the very best customer service is evident in his interactions with our customers every day.
Chris

Chris

Technician

With 20 years of experience in the auto repair trade, Chris brings a lot of knowledge to our team. He has worked in mostly family-owned independent shops, so he knows what it takes to keep customers satisfied and be part of a culture that values relationships. It fits perfectly with our mission at Shoveltown Auto Service. Following a 4.0 GPA at UTI, Chris continued to demonstrate his commitment to learning. He has an extensive set of ASE courses as well as Ford, Kia and Toyota OEM training, along with countless after-market training classes. His favorite type of car to work on is, “Someone else’s; it’s no fun when your own stuff breaks,” he said! He has been working on anything with a motor, trying to get them to go faster since he was 6 years old! Hopefully his 1986 Toyota MR2 doesn’t break down on him. He loves to spend time with his wife, two daughters and his Doberman/Bernese mix Luna. Where is he on the weekends? His 3-year-old daughter is the one who decides, so it is sure to be something fun!
John

John

Technician

John joined Shoveltown Auto Service when we acquired the business in February 2025; many customers were very excited that he stayed with us to provide that continuity in caring for their cars. With over 35 years of experience in the auto industry, he has worked at small family-owned shops as well as some dealerships. GM products are his favorite vehicles to work on, and the classic Cadillac Escalade is his favorite to drive! Aside from working on cars, he is an accomplished musician, having loved music since his teens. On weekends, he enjoys family time, going out to eat or staying home by the fire.
Tony

Tony

Service Advisor

Tony is the friendly voice you hear most often when you call Shoveltown Auto Service to ask a question or book services for your car. He has 41 years of experience in automotive repair and management. Tony started in his own garage and friend's garages as kids and young adults repairing and building cars every free moment they had. He said, “I will always have motor oil running through my veins.” All those years in various automotive settings have given him the bank of knowledge to be a valued team member, giving advice and recommendations on all kinds of automotive repair situations. He and his wife are empty nesters now, and spend their weekends getting in as much time as they can with their family and two dogs, Mia and Bella. We are lucky to have Tony as an integral part of the Shoveltown Auto Service family!
